COMPANY HISTORY
Genex Mining Company Ltd. was incorporated in the Province of British Columbia, Canada on September 1, 1994.
But our roots go far deeper than that. Genex president Brian Mills is the fourth generation of his family to mine in the Silvery Slocan.
His great-grandfather, William Alonzo ‘Billy’ Mills, arrived in Silverton in 1897. In 1910, Billy’s son Frank was born, and later followed his dad into the mines, starting at 16 as camp flunky. Frank eventually worked his own mines and was a lessee.
A generation later, Frank’s son Bob – Brian’s father – came along. Bob is also a mine owner and was previously a partner in another contract mining company, Nemo Resources Ltd. He is now a shareholder and director of Genex Mining Company Ltd.

• 2006 – Genex Mining Company Ltd. is pleased to announce an agreement with Tenajon Resources Corp. for a rehabilitation and drifting program on the company’s “Summit Lake” property. (Formerly “Scottie Gold”) near Stewart B.C.
UPDATE: Successfully completed approx. 400’ of drifting Aug, 2006
• 2006 – Genex Mining Company Ltd. will also be sending crews to develop a new small gold mine “Strebbe Property” near Nakusp B.C.
UPDATE: Successfully completed 350’ of drifting Nov.1, 2006.
• 2010 – Genex Mining successfully completed surface drill/blast bulk sample for Stikine Energy Corp. in July, 2010.
• 2010 – Genex Mining successfully completed underground development program for Hailstorm Mining Corp. in August, 2010.
• 2010 – Genex Mining has successfully completed an underground development program for Roca Mines Inc. MAX mine, Dec.2010.
• 2011 – Genex Mining has successfully completed an underground bolting program at the Aishihik, Yukon Hydro tunnel for Online Constructors Inc. April 2011.
• 2011 – Genex Mining Company Ltd. has successfully completed a 6 month mining contract for Roca Mines Inc. without a Lost Time Accident. May 15, 2011 – Oct.15, 2011
